What this is

JP Names generates authentic Japanese names on demand. Every name comes with its kanji spelling, hiragana, katakana, romaji and a meaning for each kanji, so you can understand what the name actually says.

Where the data comes from

Kanji meanings and readings are from the KANJIDIC dictionary by the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group (EDRDG), licensed under CC BY-SA. Japanese names are compiled from public reference data and are provided for informational and creative purposes.
